Netbus 2.1 Removal
Step 1.
Click Start > Run and type Regedit.
Step 2.
Follow the paths using regedit and find:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\NetBus Server\General\Visability
Step 3.
In the right window, set the value for this key to "1".
Step 4.
Exit the Registry and reboot your computer.
Step 5.
When Windows restarts, you should see the Netbus Server window (not hiddenanymore) with a Settings and Close button. Click the Settings button, and turn off the item labeled "Load at startup automatically"
Step 6.
Reboot your system once more and not only should that window not come up, but you should be uninfected.
Step 7.
Click Start > Run and type Regedit.
Step 8.
Follow the paths using regedit and find:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunServices
Step 9.
In the right window, look for the key with value 'NetBus Server Pro' . Make a note of the file.
Step 10.
In the right window, highlight the key that loads the file and delete it (Right click and choose Delete.)
Step 11.
Exit the Registry and reboot your computer.
Step 12.
After the computer has restarted, open only Windows Explorer. Delete the files found in the registry and empty your recycle bin.
Congratulations NetBus has been removed from your system.
