This removal contains two sections. Removal within Windows
and MS-Dos. The MS-Dos section can be used if you accidently
deleted the file 'FILES32.VXD' and you can not access the
registry or Windows anymore.
Windows section:
Step 1.
Click Start > Run and type Regedit.
Step 2.
Follow the paths using regedit and find:
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\exefile\shell\open\command
Step 3.
Change 'files32.vxd "%1%* to "%1%*".
Step 4.
Exit the registry
Step 5.
Start Windows Explorer. Make sure that your system is configured
to show all registered extensions. Go to View > Options
and check the appropriate settings. Switch to Windows\System
directory.Delete the file 'files32.vxd' and empty your recycle
bin.
Step 6.
Click Start > Find > Files or Folders. Search all drives
for the file 'Pretty Park.exe'. Delete it and empty your recycle
bin.
Step 7.
Click Start > Shutdown > Reboot.
NOTE: You need to do step 1 above; otherwise, executable
files may not run properly if you simply delete the file 'files32.vxd'.
Congratulations PrettyPark has been removed from your system.
MS-Dos section:
Step 1.
Start your computer in MS-DOS mode. During the boot process
hit the <F8> key. From the menu choose <SHIFT><F5>.
All of the steps below will be carried out in DOS. You should
be at a C:\ prompt.
Any text in Bold means you should type it on the DOS
line.
Step 2.
Type: regedit /e file.reg hkey_classes_root\exefile\shell\open\command
This will export the registry key that needs to be edited,
and place it in a file.
Step 3.
Type: edit file.reg
Opens the file in your text editor.
In this file, look for the line that reads:
@="FILES32.VXD \"%1\" %*"
And edit so it reads: (Take out FILES32.VXD and possible space
after)
@="\"%1\" %*"
Save the file and exit edit.
Step 4.
Type: regedit file.reg
This imports the edit you just made back into the registry.
Step 5.
<CTRL><ALT><DEL>
Your computer will restart and you will be taken back to windows.
Step 6.
Click Start > Find > Files or Folders. Search all drives
for the file 'Pretty Park.exe'. Delete it and empty your recycle
bin.
Step 7.
Click Start > Shutdown > Reboot.
Congratulations PrettyPark has been removed from your system.
