W32.Plage.Worm aka Plage2000 Removal.

Step 1.
Click Start > Run and type Sysedit.
Click on the WIN.INI file and look at the run= line under the [windows] section. Look for 'inetd.exe' entry on the line. If you find one, delete it from the line, save the change. Skip to the END.

Step 2.
Start Windows Explorer. Make sure that your system is configured to show all registered extensions. Go to View > Options and check the appropriate settings. Switch to Windows directory.Delete the file 'inetd.exe' and empty your recycle bin.

If you could not delete the file 'inetd.exe' within Windows continue with steps 3 to 5.

Step 3.
In case you encounter any problems with deleting the file 'inetd.exe' within Windows remove it from MS Dos. Click Start > Shutdown > Restart in Ms Dos mode.

Step 4.
Make sure you are at the C:\Windows prompt now. Type 'del inetd.exe' .

Step 5.
Type EXIT and Windows should restart.

Congratulations W32.Plage.Worm has been removed from your system.
