  • Creative aka Prolin:
    Creative is an an e-mail worm that spreads itself using MS Outlook.

November 2000.

  • W32.Blebla aka Blebla aka Romeo & Juliet:
    Blebla is an Internet worm. The worm attempts to send itself to all of the names in the Microsoft Outlook address book and post messages to alt.comp.virus.

  • W32.Navidad aka Navidad:
    Navidad is an Internet worm. It spreads itself as NAVIDAD.EXE attachment to e-mail messages sent from an infected computer.

  • I.Worm.MTX aka MTX:
    A virus-worm spreading under Win32 systems. The virus infects Win32 executable files, attempts to send e-mail messages with infected attached files, as well as installs a backdoor component to download and spawn "plugins" on an affected system.

  • Qaz.A aka Trojan.Qaz:
    A Win32 companion virus with the ability to spread over the network and also create a backdoor.

  • VBS/Stages.A aka LifeStages:
    A VBScript worm that spreads through email using Microsoft Outlook, ICQ, mIRC and PIRCH. It is a mass mailer which spreads over e-mail in an attachment with SHS extension.

  • VBS/Fireburn.A aka Fireburn:
    A VBScript worm that spreads through email using Microsoft Outlook and mIRC. It sends itself out via email to all addresses listed in the address book.

May 2000.

  • W97M.Melissa.BG aka W97M.Resume.A aka Resume:
    A Word macro worm virus that spreads via email using Microsoft Outlook. This worm is destructive since it deletes all files in all drives. It sends itself out via email to all addresses listed in the address book.

  • VBS/Loveletter:
    A VBScript worm. It spreads through email as a chain letter. The virus will infect files with the following extensions: vbs, vbe, js, jse, css, wsh, sct, hta, jpg, jpeg, mp3, and mp2.

April 2000.

  • Chode911 aka 911 virus aka Firkin:
    An internet-worm that uses BAT files. This worm is destructive since it will delete files of the infected system.

  • VBS.Irok aka Irok:
    Worm that spreads itself via IRC and MS Outlook.
    This virus is destructive since it infects every executable it finds in the installed drives of the infected system.

  • W32/Melting.worm:
    Worm that 'melts' your screen.

  • VBS/Tune aka Tune:
    A self-spamming worm that uses Outlook client and mIRC (Internet Relay Chat) to propagate. WIN95/98/NT and 2000 where the Windows Scripting Host is installed.
