W32.Mypics.Worm aka MyPics aka Pics4You Removal

Step 1.
End the MYPICS task/process by pressing the Ctrl-Alt-Del keys. You should see a process called MYPICS. Please end the task/process.
Step 2.
Click Start > Run and type Regedit.
Follow the paths using regedit and find:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
NOTE: in case of using WindowsNT above mentioned path should be:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\WindowsNT\Windows\Run
Step 3.
Look in the righthand pane for 'C:\Pics4You.Exe. Highlight this key and delete it (Right click and choose Delete).
Step 4.
Exit the registry.
Step 5.
Start Windows Explorer. Check if the autoexec.bat file has been modified (this will only occur if the computers system clock is set to year 2000). If so, delete autoexec.bat and restore an original copy from backup.
Step 6.
Click Start > Find > Files or Folders. Search all drives for the file 'CBIOS.COM'. (this file will only exist if the computers system clock is set to year 2000). If so, delete the CBIOS.COM file. Empty your recycle bin.
Step 6.
Click Start > Find > Files or Folders. Search all drives for the file 'Pics4You.exe'. Delete it and empty your recycle bin.
Step 7.
The worm will alter the 'Home Page' in the Microsoft Internet Explorer browser. You will need to restore the original 'Home Page'.
Congratulations MyPics has been removed from your system.
